Prepare Your Youth Basketball Player with Pre-Season Play at the Bridge
Pre-Season at The Bridge Sportsplex in Edwardsville, Illinois is designed for School Feeder Programs and Select AAU programs in the Southern Illinois area. It's specifically for youth basketball athletes who are looking to get some basketball games in before Fall/Winter leagues or tournaments begin. Please note that AAU and Feeder teams will NOT play each other unless requested.
- Who Can Play?: BOYS & GIRLS TEAMS, grades 2nd - 6th
- Games: Teams can request between 1 and 6 games total over the 3 weekends, with a maximum of 2 games per weekend. Teams can also submit scheduling requests such as "no games on November 2/3 weekend and/or no games on Sundays." We will do our best to honor any and all requests.
- Officiating: All pre-season games will have 1 referee only.
- Location: Games will take place in Edwardsville, Roxana or Wood River, Illinois.
- Cost: $35 per game
- Purpose: These games provide valuable preparation before official league play and/or tournaments begin. No winners will be declared at the end of the 3 weekends.
- Dates: November 2/3, November 9/10, & November 16/17. The schedule will be released on October 30.
Important:
- Feeder Programs and Select Programs will NOT play each other, only feeder vs feeder or select vs select. *Unless a feeder team requests to play select teams*
- Admission to watch is $3 per person each day.
- Concessions will be available (drinks, snacks, popcorn, hotdogs, nachos etc.)
- Teams must provide 1 person to run the score table for each game played.
- Sportsmanship is priority. We give our referees the right to remove any coach, player, fan or team from the gym at anytime w/o refund.
